This is a partial bath – you just put the upper and the lower limbs into water, without the necessity to go into the bath.
The therapeutic effects of a sulphide water is the same in case of a limb-bath as of the whole-body bath. This kind of treatment is recommended for patients who have contraindications to take a whole-body bath.
The sulphide limb-bath effects include: stimulation of circulation and micro- stimulation, drop in the levels of blood cholesterol and glucosis, exfoliation of epidermis – a natural peeling, alleviation of inflammatory conditions, minimization of pains and swellings in ankylosing spondylitis, discopathy or rheumatoid arthritis. The treatment takes place in a sulphide water heated to 35-38 °C. It takes 15 min. The number of treatments is determined by your doctor on case-by-case basis.
