Indoor Pool & Sauna World
Discover a hotel with a pool where the water is purified with nanosilver for crystal-clear clarity. Unwind in the jacuzzi at our pool area, relax in one of four unique saunas, and experience the healing Kneipp path. This wellness zone is available free of charge to all guests of Hotel Bristol Art & Spa and Bristol Aparthotel.
Indoor Pool
We are the only property in Busko-Zdrój – and one of the few in Poland – where the pool for our guests is purified with nanosilver. Silver is a natural antibacterial agent that prevents the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi. Unlike chlorine, it does not irritate the eyes.
The pool measures 6 m x 12 m and features a range of water attractions, including a counter-current system, water and air massages, a geyser, and a neck massage cascade.
Saunas Area
Saunas Area
Our saunas is a zone with four saunas. The Finnish sauna, BIO sauna, infrared sauna, and steam sauna are available to guests from 3:00 PM on weekdays and from 8:00 AM on weekends and public holidays. The zone also includes a cold-water plunge barrel for cooling down after sauna sessions and an ice maker.
Finnish Sauna – a traditional wooden sauna where the air temperature ranges from 85°C to 100°C with low humidity. Its beneficial effects include training of the circulatory and respiratory systems, toxin removal, skin cleansing, metabolism acceleration, support for weight loss, and strengthening of the immune system. A sauna session should consist of three alternating cycles of heating and cooling the body. Each cycle should last 10–15 minutes. After the session, you should rest for about 30 minutes and replenish fluids. To maintain good overall health, one session per week is sufficient, though for justified reasons it may be used two or three times a week.
Steam Sauna – a traditional steam bath with aromatherapy, where the temperature ranges from 45°C to 50°C with humidity up to 100%. Steam baths are especially beneficial for the respiratory system. The moist heat improves skin appearance, stimulates circulation, detoxifies the body, and relaxes tired muscles. A steam sauna session should consist of three alternating heating and cooling cycles. Each cycle should last 10–15 minutes. After the session, rest for about 20–30 minutes and replenish fluids. Recommended use is once a week, though for justified reasons it may be used two or three times weekly.
BIO Sauna – a gentler version of the Finnish sauna, enhanced with aromatherapy. The temperature ranges from 45°C to 70°C with variable humidity. It is intended for those who cannot use a traditional sauna for health reasons, as it is less taxing on the body and gentler on the circulatory system. Like the Finnish sauna, it helps regulate and train the circulatory and respiratory systems, strengthens immunity, eliminates toxins, cleanses the skin, boosts metabolism, and supports weight loss. Usage guidelines are the same as for the Finnish sauna: three heating and cooling cycles of 10–15 minutes each, followed by 20–30 minutes of rest and fluid replenishment. Recommended once per week, or two to three times per week if justified.
Infrared Sauna – based on innovative technology using infrared emitters instead of a traditional stove. During the session, the body is exposed to infrared electromagnetic radiation of a safe wavelength, without harmful UV rays. The infrared sauna can induce higher levels of sweating than a traditional hot sauna while using lower air temperatures, ranging from 25°C to 75°C. These lower temperatures ensure greater safety for those concerned about cardiovascular or respiratory risks. The heat penetrates 3–5 cm into the body, aiding in toxin elimination, fat burning, metabolism stimulation, blood circulation improvement, and skin firming, while enhancing overall physical condition. Recommended session duration is 20–30 minutes, and it can be used daily. Afterward, rest for about 20–30 minutes and replenish fluids.
Rules of the Saunarium
-
This is a relaxation zone – please remain quiet.
-
Before entering the sauna, take a lukewarm shower and dry your body thoroughly.
-
Remove swimwear, flip-flops, jewelry, and watches before entering.
-
Enter the Finnish, infrared, and BIO saunas wrapped in a towel or pareo, and sit on another towel so that your body (including feet) does not touch the wooden benches. Enter the steam sauna naked, rinsing the seat before and after use.
-
Relax and avoid talking during sessions. If you wish to pour water on the Finnish sauna stove, ask fellow guests for permission first.
-
After a session (up to 15 minutes), first take a lukewarm shower naked to rinse off sweat, then use the cold plunge barrel.
-
After the sauna, rest for at least as long as your session lasted.
Benefits of sauna use:
Detoxification, improved circulation, boosted metabolism, nervous system regeneration, pain reduction through muscle relaxation, cellulite reduction, stronger immunity, stress relief, and relaxation.
Contraindications:
Fever and infections, circulatory insufficiency, epilepsy, cancer, skin infections, kidney failure, glaucoma.
Why should we use the sauna without swimwear?
During thermal bathing, sweat glands release perspiration, helping the body eliminate toxins, urea, and impurities.
Swimwear, usually made of synthetic materials, blocks the skin’s open pores, trapping unwanted substances inside. This can cause burns in intimate areas and, combined with high heat, promotes bacterial growth directly on the skin. Moreover, toxins absorbed into swimwear spread further—to the jacuzzi, pool, or loungers.
