Kinezyterapia grupowa w basenie

This is a series of exercises led by a qualified physiotherapist for a group of people in a water environment. Due to its nature, the water environment enables the trainees to do exercises without the burden of the body mass, only with the resistance of water, which results in a substantial improvement of nerve-muscle coordination. It also brings on muscle relaxation, as a result of the disburdening factor and the seeming loss of body weight. On the other hand, reduction of pain during exercises results from the thermal factor, which lowers the muscle tension and neural excitability. Hydrostatic pressure of water influences the respiratory system. It intensifies the pressure on the chest and abdomen, and makes it harder to inhale and easier to exhale. Water exercise is often a preparation to further therapy in dry environment. Duration: 30 min.
